2009 Charlotte Boot Camp 2 Beat Cancer coming June 20th

The 2009 Charlotte Boot Camp 2 Beat Cancer (BC2BC) is an exercise-based fundraiser benefiting both the Brain Tumor Fund for the Carolinas and National Students of AMF (Ailing Mothers and Fathers), an organization dedicated to supporting college students coping with the illness or death of a loved one. The BC2BC is open to all ages, and includes either a "boot camp" type workout led by local athletes and trainers, or a family fun walk. This one-hour workout serves as a time to remember those in our lives who have been lost to cancer, those who are currently battling cancer, and to join the front line in the fight to BEAT cancer! We are looking forward to the 2009 Charlotte BC2BC, and we would love to see YOU out there! The Charlotte 2009 BC2BC will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Myers Park High School and registration begins at 8:00 am and the event will begin at 9:00 am.  Register here:   http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1706222.

Two local Charlotteans, Ashleigh Thore and Daniel Sanford, are bringing this event to Charlotte to highlight the needs of those suffering from brain cancer.  Ashleigh has been personally touched by the disease as her father is bravely fighting it currently.  Please help us support Ashleigh, her family and all of those impacted by this horrible disease.
