The Presbyterian Hospital Invitational Criterium

Every year since 2004, the Brain Tumor Fund for the Carolinas has hosted the The Presbyterian Hospital Invitational Criterium (formerly known as the Bank of America Invitational Criterium), promoting community awareness of the BTFC in an effort to increase regional brain tumor patient access to the best treatment, technology, research, and support.  All net proceeds from the event benefit BTFC.

The world's richest criterium, the Presbyterian Invitational Criterium, will once again be held in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, August 4, 2007.  The event will consist of both a women’s and men's event.  The Men’s 50-mile twilight criterium and the Women’s 25-mile criterium will be held on the streets of center city Charlotte.  The Women’s event starts at 5:30pm followed by the Men’s event at 7:00pm, pre race festivities begin 1 hour before.  The event will be spectator friendly and will be held on a 1.2 mile course in center city Charlotte.  The event is part of the USA Cycling's National Racing Calendar (NRC) and attracts Professional riders from around the world.
